Infographics: South Africa Health

 

 

South Africa can sig­nif­i­cant­ly cut health costs by increas­ing the share of renew­able ener­gy. Ambi­tious decar­bon­i­sa­tion can lead to an almost com­plete elim­i­na­tion of South Africa’s health costs from the pow­er sec­tor by 2050. Fol­low­ing the same path­way South Africa can save as much as R41 bil­lion in health costs by that time.
